Good to know

Does it hear my microphone?

No. Vika listens only to the audio your computer plays, such as the interviewer. Your own spoken answer is not transcribed.

What happens to my audio and resume?

Audio is sent to OpenAI to be turned into text and an answer. Vika does not save it. Your resume and your questions and answers are stored on your Vika account so they carry over to a new computer, and the Vika administrator can see them. You can clear your chat in the app. Read the privacy policy.

How do I pay?

In the app, press Start with no credits, or open Settings and choose Buy interviews. You can also buy on the website. Pick how many, pay with Razorpay, and your credits show up in a few seconds.

Which meeting apps does it work with?

Any app whose audio plays on your computer, including Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. On the first run, Mac asks for permission to capture system audio.

Will Hide always keep Vika off a screen share?

Hide asks your computer to leave Vika out of screen recordings and shares. It works with most tools, but not every screen-capture method can be controlled. Test it with a private recording first.

Is it allowed to use in my interview?

That depends on the employer and the interview. Some do not allow AI help. You are responsible for following the rules that apply to you. See the terms.

Do I need my own OpenAI account?

No. Vika supplies it while your paid session is running.

I paid but I do not see my credit.

It usually appears within a minute. Press Check my credits in the app, or open your account. If it still is not there, contact us with your mobile number and the payment time.

First time opening it

  • Mac: open the .dmg and drag Vika to Applications. The first time, macOS says it could not verify Vika. Click Done, then open System Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway. After that Vika opens normally. Allow system audio capture when asked.
  • Windows: if Windows shows a blue “protected your PC” screen, choose More info, then Run anyway.
